Parking zones

Orange and green zones: 15 minutes for free, half an hour for CZK 5, one hour for CZK 10 and every subsequent hour for CZK 20. Parking fees apply from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00 and in the green parking zone also on Saturdays from 8:00 to 14:00. Orange zones are, for example, in the carpark near the municipal authority, in Železná street, Komenský Square, Old Town Square and Na Kozině Square. Green zones are, for example, on the Republic Square along shops and the courthouse and in Havlíčkova street in front of the transport and road management department.

Yellow zone: 15 minutes for free, then CZK 30 for all-day parking. Yellow zones are, for example, in Koněvova street behind the viaduct, near the primary school in Komenský Square and behind the ice arena. Parking fees apply from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00, with the exception of the carpark near the ice arena, where parking fees only apply to 16:00 and parking after this time is free of charge.

Parking in certain places can be paid via a mobile application (download available here) and extended electronically as needed. Drivers can also extend their paid parking at any parking meter in the zone where they have parked their car.
